Wow, finally some sun in Oregon. I almost forgot what it felt like. I had to be outside today, so no painting was even attempted. I have a feeling I'll be back at it tomorrow, as the forecast is dim. Well, today was glorious. We even got our tomatoes planted, finally. I'll bet in sunny California, folks are already eating theirs!
I did this piece last month, right before our show in Belleville. I reminds me of a warm summer night, with the light crawling through the trees after a day like today, spent in the sun. I liked it quite a lot and also sold it!

Spectacular, Marla! You've reminded me again why it is that I try to paint with pastels.

the colors on this, the feeling of light.... incredible!
Marla, I keep coming back to this one like a siren to the rocks. It's a jewel.
